“Here’s an honest review of my experience: Driver Experience: The driver was fine but constantly asked for a good review and a screenshot of it. This felt awkward, especially with the language barrier. I suspect they might not get paid unless their bosses see these reviews, which makes the situation tough for them too. It explains why all the reviews are overly positive and mention the drivers by name. Sunrise View: The sunrise was beautiful, but it’s very weather-dependent. We were lucky, but others might not be. The jeeps only go about a quarter of the way up, not near the top, but the view is still good. Our driver was great at taking photos without being annoying or charging extra. Overall Experience: It was awesome.”

“We started our adventure bright and early at 3:00 am with Kadek, our friendly and punctual driver. He made the journey to the base of Mount Batur so relaxing, sharing stories about Bali’s culture along the way. Once we arrived, we were greeted with a warm smile by Bagus, our guide, who was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the mountain. The 4x4 ride was thrilling yet safe, and Bagus explained the fascinating history of Mount Batur as we made our way up. When we reached the summit, Wayan, our photographer, helped us pose for some of the most stunning photos we’ve ever had. The sunrise was magical—words can’t do justice to the beauty of watching the sky light up over Bali. After the sunrise, we explored the black lava fields, which were surreal, followed by a stop at a cozy coffee plantation where we tasted the best Balinese coffee.
