What an incredible way to explore Ho Chi Minh City! Riding through the streets on a motorbike with my guide, Rick, was thrilling yet totally safe—he was an amazing driver and storyteller. Starting with a traditional Vietnamese breakfast was the perfect way to kick off the day, and every stop was fascinating. From the vibrant Ho Thi Ky Flower Market to the peaceful Thien Hau Temple, I felt like I was seeing the heart of the city. The oldest Chinese neighborhood and apartment buildings gave me a glimpse into the city's history and culture. I couldn’t have asked for a better way to explore Saigon solo!

If you’ve ever wanted to feel like the star of an action movie while learning about history, THIS is your tour. I hopped onto Heng’s motorbike thinking, “Well, this could go either way.” Spoiler alert: it went GREAT! Breakfast was a perfect start—I mean, who doesn’t want to begin their day with delicious food while pretending they’re a local? The Nguyen Thien Thuat apartments felt like stepping onto a movie set, and the flower market? Let’s just say I almost bought flowers just to pretend I live there. By the time we reached the Thien Hau Temple, I was feeling all zen despite my helmet hair. Heng’s stories were amazing, his driving was ninja-level smooth, and his humor kept me laughing the whole time. If you’re solo and ready for an adventure that’s part history, part adrenaline, and part comedy, this tour is your golden ticket.

We ooked 2 motorbikes. We loved riding on motorbikes with Hoa and Bao, and we felt safe and comfortable the entire time. Starting with breakfast was a wonderful way to connect with Vietnamese culture, and the flower market. The historical stops, like the oldest Chinese neighborhood and Thien Hau Temple, were fascinating. Hoa made the day fun and educational, and the private feel of the tour made it stress-free.

I’ll be honest—I thought riding a motorbike in Saigon would make me scream for my life. Turns out, it made me scream with excitement! My guide, Dong, was like a motorbike ninja, weaving through traffic like it was a video game. Breakfast was a win (local food is my love language), and the flower market was so vibrant, I felt like I walked into a giant Instagram filter. The Nguyen Thien Thuat apartments gave me major retro vibes, and the Thien Hau Temple was the peaceful cherry on top of a wild ride. Solo travelers, take this tour—it’s like eating pho for your soul.

This tour was everything I could have hoped for as a solo traveler. From the moment Bao picked me up on his motorbike, I knew I was in for an unforgettable experience. We started the day with a traditional Vietnamese breakfast surrounded by locals—it was such a welcoming introduction to the city’s culture. The Nguyen Thien Thuat apartment buildings were fascinating, showing a slice of Saigon’s history that I’d never have found on my own. The vibrant Ho Thi Ky Flower Market was buzzing with life and color, and Bao explained its significance with so much passion. The oldest Chinese neighborhood was a peaceful retreat from the city’s hustle and bustle, and the Chinatown church was stunning in its simplicity and history. The highlight for me was the Thien Hau Temple—a beautiful, serene place that felt like stepping back in time. Bao made me feel safe, informed, and engaged throughout the tour, sharing stories and even helping me capture great photos at every stop. This motorbike tour isn’t just about sightseeing—it’s about experiencing the city’s soul. If you’re solo and want to dive deep into Saigon’s culture and history, this is the tour for you!
