“If you want to immerse yourself in the beautiful and peaceful Balinese way of life, this tour is a must! Our guide, Aji, was incredible and made the entire experience seamless. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with traditional Indonesian treats and coffee. Aji patiently explained the layout of the family compound, its connection to Hindu practices, and the cultural significance of each detail. We had the opportunity to meet Aji’s family, including his mother and grandmother, who graciously showed us how to make "canang sari" (traditional offering baskets). Aji’s explanations of the meaning behind each flower and its placement were fascinating. We also visited the village cremation site, where Aji shared insights about the Balinese rituals of returning ashes to the earth. The lunch at a traditional warung was absolutely delicious, with plenty of options to choose from, and it was all included in the tour price. But the highlight of the day was the cleansing and purification ceremony. Aji guided us through the entire process, ensuring we felt comfortable. He provided traditional attire, captured amazing photos for us, and made the experience unforgettable. Aji’s attention to detail and warmth made this an experience of a lifetime. Thank you, Aji!”
