“Snorkeling day trip to Nusa penida. Great trip, highly recommend. Private transfer from our hotel to sanur port. Our driver / guide was very nice and looked after everything for us, fast ferry tickets etc. Ferry was about 45 mins. Then onto a smaller boat with 6 people and a captain and a tour guide for the snorkelling. The boat was a perfect size and the guide was great to show us where the manta rays were. Some of the larger boats had 20 or 30 people and seemed very busy. 4 snorkeling spots.”

“Die gesamte Planung und Organisation unserer Reise war perfekt. Unser Guide Tomato hat uns pünktlich mit einem neuen und grossen Wagen bei unserem Hotel abgeholt und uns während der gesamten Reise begleitet.
Die Überfahrt von Sanur nach Nusa Penida war sehr abgenehm und das Boot legte pünktlich ab.
Wir waren mit zwei weiteren Paaren an Board, es gab reichlich Platz. Wir begannen unsere Schnorcheltour bei den Mantas und hatten das grosse Glück etwa 10 Mantas anzutreffen. Die Tiere liesen sich durch uns nicht stören und waren äusserst friedlich. Danach hatten wir noch bei drei weitteren Spots die Gelegenheit das Riff zu sehen und viele verschiedene Fische. Es war wunderbar! Leider sind wir keiner Schildkröte begegnet, aber dies machte nichts. Nach dem Schnorchel gings zum Essen und dann wieder zurück nach Sanur.

“We had a great time on our snorkelling tour yesterday. Big thanks to MangDut, Komang and Made for making it such a great day.
Overall we had a great time - the Forever Vacation team were great and we have no regrets about this tour.
A few things to note about the tour are:
The toilet facilities at the island are very basic. There were a few western style toilets but no seats and no toilet paper.
You need to walk through the water on to the boat at the port as the jetty isn’t built yet. It was quite deep on the way back and I got hit by a wave so ended up quite wet from the waist down. Not a huge deal but I would recommend not changing out of your board shorts for the second leg.
The ferry/speed boat gets very crowded but we ended up having a nice ride back to shore but it was pretty cramped.
The first stop on the snorkelling tour was very crowded and there were a lot of petrol fumes from the boats. I ended up jumping back on the boat as I needed some Ventolin. The tour guides took great care of me. This was only an issue for the first port and the next 3 stops I was fine. If you have asthma, I would recommend bringing your inhaler just in case.
None of these things were in the control of Forever Vacation - but worth mentioning as if you’re not a particularly adventurous person, you might not enjoy it as much.
The pros were:
Great communication from the team before during and after the tour through WhatsApp- they even took photos for us and sent them to us afterwards
We felt incredibly well cared for and looked after. Everyone wanted to make sure that we had a great time. Special shout out to MangDut who picked us up from our hotel and looked after us through the tour.
The lunch was fresh and tasty. I had a delicious Nasi goreng and my husband had a yummy noodle dish.
We had a great time snorkelling ! We saw 4 manta rays and even got to see a turtle. It was fantastic.”
