“This tour was absolutely incredible! Learning to cook traditional Balinese dishes was such a fun and immersive experience. My guide, Ketut, was so patient and knowledgeable, explaining every ingredient and technique. Later, visiting Tanah Lot Temple at sunset was magical—the views were breathtaking, and Ketut shared fascinating stories about its history. This all-inclusive experience was perfectly planned, and I felt completely taken care of. Thank you, ForeverVacation, for an unforgettable day!”

“A truly authentic overview of Balinese cuisine and culture. This tour was unexpectedly perfect. Our guide Alus put every effort into making this day as remarkable as it was, enhancing our experience by taking spectacular photos and showing us the best of Tanah Lot. We also enjoyed communicating in Bahasa Indonesia where possible, however this was not necessary as Alus was beyond proficient in English (much better than our Indonesian… haha!)
The cooking class was very informative and was preceded by a visit to a local Balinese market. The lunch we created together as a group was sensational and we all left the cooking class having learnt a lot about traditional Balinese food.
I highly recommend visiting the Holy Snake/s at Tanah Lot temple. Make sure you don’t miss this rare opportunity when you take this tour.”
“It wasn't just about learning about how to cook some dishes, but an enriching cultural learning of the Balinese culinary tradition with clear explanation of what each ingredient is, how to use as well as the health benefits. Plus it is not just 1 or 2 recipes that were taught, but 5-6 dishes.
After having had a big meal (everything was so delicious), the temple tour was great, not only it helped digestion, but it was a necessary visit, very unique temple on the water in the sea, accessible in low tide. Just like the Asian version of Mont St-Michel, incredible architecture!”
“We absolutely loved our day with our tour guide Millga. He picked us up at the hotel with a local pastry, and brought us to the kitchen we’re we met the chef. From there we went to the local market and learned about foods and spices. We had the opportunity to buy stuff while we were there as well. We went back and cooked and ate delicious food. After we went and saw the temple and it was beautiful. Our tour guide Millga was very funny and kind. I would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone staying any amount of time in Bali. Millga taught us a lot about the island and the food experience immersed us in the culture. 10/10”

“Loved this amazing day trip. From the moment we booked (3 adults) we knew we had made the right choice. We received welcome messages from the Forever Vacation team numerous times before the day (always with positive and helpful information) and on the day our tour guide - Gusde, was so very passionate and committed to us all having a great experience. Our private pick up by Gusde, was on time, the market tour very informative, the cooking school was an outstanding experience with 13 amazing dishes created from scratch and the temple tour was educational and breathtaking . Every step of the way our guide Gusde, told us what was what, answered all our questions and ensured we left with a love for Bali - the island of the gods. Gusde also took loads of photos and videos for us so we could remember the day forever. I recommend this day trip and will be using Forever Vacation again for a different day trip when we return to Bali again very soon. ❤️”
