Organic Natural Sesame Seeds are high in calcium.
Organic Natural Sesame Seeds contain the outer hull so appear brown in colour compared to the more common organic hulled sesame seeds. Sesame seeds are popular across the globe and these can be used to make whole seed tahini which is a popular ingredient in a range of dishes from North Africa, Turkey and Greece.

These tiny but mighty seeds are high in Calcium, Manganese, Iron, Copper and a source of Thiamin (B1), Pyrodoxine (B6), Magnesium, Phosphorus and Zinc (per 30g serving).

These seeds have a really impressive range of nutrients and are particularly high in calcium which makes them a popular choice in vegan diets. Although they are small, sesame seeds pack a powerful punch and are used in Asia as a garnish and in delicious desserts. You may have been lucky enough to try halva which is a sesame based treat from the Middle East.

If you like experimenting with plant milks then try making sesame milk for a calcium rich alternative to dairy.

We also stock organic black sesame seeds which have a more intense flavour and organic hulled sesame seeds which have the hull removed.
