Awesomely good - a different league to other PG packs and much more like a 'real' backpack. Uses slightly tougher and more water resistant materials the usual lightweight kit plus water resistant zips but is only marginally heavier than the lightweight pack I'd completely worn out. It packs down nearly as compactly when flying. Quality of construction & attention to detail excellent. Foam used on back and hip belt is quite dense and gives it structure but is designed to easily roll up (no frame like in the kalibri). Very well thought out compression and closure system means load always transfers to shoulder straps and tensions the whole pack, making it firm and consequently be very stable and very comfortable. These straps for allow you to compress and stablise regardless of how full it is. Top pocket doesn't get squashed when the lid compresses, and you can use this lid to secure jackets or stuff that doesn't fit inside. Hip belt has side stabilisers which combined with the compression/strap design make for the most stable carry I've ever had (thinking of climbing and ski mountaineering here, not just PG). Back materials and the space from the foam on the back mean it handles getting very sweaty well, reducing any soaking pack/damp wing issues on hot 'hike' bits of h&f. Hip belt is more at the bottom (where it should be!) than some PG packs meaning it's not a nuisance on steep ground in the mountains. Capacity: 75 litres is probably accurate enough but I was amazed at how much fitted in. Size large Alpina wrapped around harness, large woody valley GTO light with inflatable protection (no way foam protector would fit) then enough space for all clothes, light flight deck, helmet and very light weight volbiv kit and food for a couple of days and water (with tent and cooking stuff, wing instead of sleeping bag - you'd need to stash helmet on the outside in the provided helmet net for that too). I tried several packs (thanks Nancy at Flybubble for advice patience and returns!) before getting this and although I ended up spending twice as much as I planned, I think it's well worth it.
