“I was scratching my head initially on the DLS rucksack release. I couldnt understand the reason why some features of the ULS bag were missing..? The mesh pockets on the wider shoulders straps for one. I also wasnt a fan of the colour, I was hoping it was going to come in white if I was being honest.. On its release I thought, that looks like its been through the wash with a random blue sock..! But I needed more carrying capacity.. So I placed the order. Out the box, the colour grew on me immediately it's more of a grey/blue, not a random blue sock in the wash blue. The build quality is great, its Advance... I have the weightless and the the 70 LITRE ULS bag. The 91 LITRE DLS rucksack makes all the difference for a normal pilot or for vol biv pilots, everything fits easily compared to the ULS bag that can require a much more thoughtful approach to packing and at 70 litres its not big enough for bigger adventures IMV. The DLS having a greater capacity also means the side pockets are more generous. I can put a 2 litre water bladder in the side pocket easily, and the hiking poles just slip into the pocket on the side, I like that.. The 2 hip belt pockets will also accommodate a large samsung s22 Ultra phone.. The 70 litre ULS bag shipped with the weightless harness forms part of the back protector certification. The 91 litre DLS bag also fits in the underseat compartment too. The bag has no doubt been through multiple incarnations and Advance have optimised it as much as possible to give you a 91 litre capacity and for it to still fit under the seat. Great job It's a stable load to carry and also very comfortable. Clear recommendation..”
