Seems to be a good product, the magnetism works well even when painted over. It does leave a rough surface when painted even with a sponge roller. Coverage is very good of a 2.5 litre tin.

Thank you for taking time to leave us a review it really helps us out! We are so happy you were satisfied with our service. We are always looking for ways to improve, and appreciate any feedback from our customers! Due to the small metal fillings - which make the paint magnetic - the paint surface will naturally have a more granular surface. However, feel free to get in touch with us at sales@magnetexpert.com and we can advise the best steps to achieve the smoothest surface possible - or alternatively if there is anything else you would like to discuss we are always open to suggestions from our valued customers! Please don't hesitate to reach out to us at sales@magnetexpert.com Thanks again, Aine O'Hare Content Manager FIRST4MAGNETS

I've never used such a paint before but 3 coats and my magnets are sticking well so I'm really pleased.

After re-reading the instructions (which clearly say for best results paint 3 coats) I have edited my review ?? Love the colour (literally like a block of charcoal) and after 3 good coats of paint I was able to stick the majority of my pics up. For the heavier ones I۪ve used command tape.

Took more coats than recommended and a lot of magnetic tape per picture (not heavy ones) but still really happy with it, now I have a wall I can move artwork etc around on to style product shoots. And the pictures have stayed in place really well

I haven't actually used them yet and don't plan to do so until this project is ready to start.
