This boneless and rolled turkey breast joint is latticed with streaky bacon for extra flavour. Dry-plucked, hand-finished and hung in cold stores on the farm for 10-14 days to really allow the flavours to develop. Well-known for its premium flavour and tender meat, our Bronze Turkeys are reared using traditional methods. Free to roam, foraging as they please and housed safely overnight in small groups, the flavour of our Bronze Turkeys is like no other. All thanks to the stress-free and happy lives that our birds lead. All of our Bronze Turkeys are sourced from our main supplier, Stuart Perkins, with a smaller number coming from Caldecott Farm. Both Stu and Caldecott rear truly free-range birds, ensuring the highest standards of animal welfare. Bit disappointed, the meat did not slice well,not very tender and had strips of fat and tendon running through it. Not the best that we've had.

This was fairly tasty but, because of the shape of the joint it cooked unevenly (two thin ends half the size of the middle). As such I'd say the photo of the product was a bit misleading as it looks fairly even in depth throughout ... Cooking instructions weren't helpful - there was a 'string vest' affair around the joint which I ended up removing as I had no idea if it was meant to be left on or not. Finally, the 'bacon' wrapping was rather meagre and not what I had expected.

Cooked Xmas lunch at my inlaws who have limited oven space. Rather than fill the oven with a whole turkey, I chose this instead. Simple and quick to cook, left to rest for 30 minutes before carving. Delicious and beautifully moist, enjoyed by all!
