Men's Seiko 5 Sports - Automatic Bracelet Watch Reviews

A sophisticated looking men's watch from Seiko with an automatic movement powering the day/date display mechanism. The case measures 42mm and along with the bracelet is given a mostly brushed steel finish. The clasp has a fold over safety catch for added security and there is a window in the rear of the case allowing you to see into the mechanics of the watch. A very good watch which is light and comfortable on the wrist. Keeps good time, not too big and baulky.

Excellent build, can never fault a Seiko. Service was excellent at F.Hinds in Wellingborough as well, makes buying the watch even better when the people who serve you know their stuff and care.

Early days so far. But the watch was purchased to be worn while at work, as it looks robust enough to tackle the day to day environment and so far it has measured up to the task admiraly. Even though the watch has a 42mm case, its compactness, fits my 6.75" wrist very well. I have replaced the OEM bracelet with Sail cloth, NATO and rubber straps, as it gives much more versatility and changes the appearance of the watch, as well as being my preferred choice.

This watch is very impressive for the price. I never bought an SKX before they were discontinued, but this is essentially the same watch with a better movement and dial but without the screw down crown. I am genuinely impressed with the watch and am considering selling my more expensive watches to buy more Seiko watches. I ordered online and collected instore. The only slight downside is that I didnt get an instruction book with the watch.
