“These shorts fit really well and are very comfortable on the bike. The mix of materials is good, although the slightly softer material on the inside of the right thigh is marking up near the seam, where it slightly contacts the nose of the saddle, which other shorts haven't done. That could be the saddle (Specialized S-Works Carbon Power) or my riding style, but I don't see that on the many pairs of Enduro or Castellit shorts I have. That's after only about 100 miles too. The pad is good quality and overall I like the design and the reflective material around the legs, so I'll see how they get on in the coming weeks and whether the marking turns in to a material failure or is just superficial.”
Sorry that the shorts were not suitable for you Graeme - they are a premium product from one of the worlds leading sportswear factories and similar shorts with other brands are priced at well over £100.

“After four short rides, twentyish miles apiece, I can only say that I have not noticed the shorts whilst riding, which is of course a good thing. The shoulder straps seem determined to twist when I put them on, but no sign of that on the road, and the pad is comfy, so far. Would have preferred a little less obvious branding, but will have to live with that.”
