“Was really disappointed with the finish of this item. The description stated walnut style wood. I expected the item to be wood, it is not it is just cheap laminate. The entire box and inlay (the playing board) is just cheap laminate. When I wrote my last review someone replied stating that the inlay was just laminated well it's not the whole thing is. Both the photos and description are deceptive. Would not purchase again and if it had not been so close to Christmas Iwould have sent it back.”

Dear Cath, the product description states that the board is walnut style wood with a printed board. We do have solid wood boards, and boards with marquetry inserts on the playing surface within our range, but due to the production costs on these they are more expensive.
