“I was suprised to see that the board surface was papered and not would. To me this is a very expensive chess set to see the board papered. Which will wear over time. I wouldn’t buy this again.”

“The delivery service and packaging were fine. When playing disappointing to note that both the size and finish on the pieces is not good. Pieces particularly effected are the black rooks and bishops although there are 'size' variations across the full range of pieces. In addition, the felt on one or two pieces is not good. The quality and finish of the box and board seems 'better' in every respect.”
