“The chess board is nice quality but the pieces feel and look very cheap. There is no weight to them either. Also we ordered with a engraving plate but this was not attached to the board or has come away. When the gift was opened the plate fell out, very disappointing as it was a special 40th birthday gift.”

“I love the way this product looks. However, i expected it to able to stand alone and it doesn't and despite the fact that it is difficult to keep upright, it also leaked the first time I used it. Slightly disappointed that it had these issues when it was £40.”

Dear Rose, Yes the victorian style flask is a kidney flask designed to slip into the pocket easily. We have some flasks with a solid base let us know and we can provide some recommendations for you. Thanks Matt
