This Santoku is exceptional. I have a decent collection of high quality cooking knives and have leant away from traditional French style and towards these oriental styles, mainly as I find them more practical with the cutting edge curved in such a way that it rocks on the board for chopping and slicing. The hammered steel finish gives a non-stick effect so you won't get slices of courgette or similar adhering. The ash handle feels great in the palm of the hand. Over all this a superb addition to my kitchen and one I use every day.

Brought as a gift for my other half and he absolutely loves it. It's a very good looking knive, very well made and works a treat! Nice sharp blade. Makes a great gift for anyone who loves cooking.

Bought this for my brothers 50th birthday. He was absolutely delighted and used it straight away on the bbq. He also loves the touch of the engraved initials. Thanks very much

Not had Knife long and I’m no professional cook but it does the job very well and is extremely sharp. As instructed not putting in dishwasher or soaking in water and the look of the knife is staying good but as I said only had knife a couple of weeks

My new, go-to, kitchen knife. I find it so much more comfortable than the English traditional style chef's knife and so versatile I rarely pick up my paring knife. Drooped one star because the advertised stippling does not stop slices sticking to the blade.
