“This binder is beautifully made. The leather is soft and supple and actually smells lovely (contrary to some other reviews). It provides storage for a number of various items. I bought this as a gift and had it personalised. I chose the Handwriting font and it is understated, yet elegant and smart.”

“This was a present for my Granddaughter who just graduated from Cambridge and is going on to do a Masters at Edinburgh. She spends so much time in the library, this will be very useful for taking notes and also looks very professional. Good quality leather and nice touch to have her name engraved.”

“The leather and finishes are really high quality and I will be using Farrar & Tanner again. Packaging and box for ring binder are very nice and look professional. The only thing which strikes me is this invoice inside the box. I have ordered zip binder as a gift for my wife and I have added extra packaging. After the purchase I have received an e-mail with an invoice but the same invoice found my wife inside the box after opening it. The reply from Jude was that because it's the same delivery address the invoice was added. I understand that but at the same time tha's why I've added extra packaging and birthday message cause it was a gift and in my humble opinion it is rude to give someone a gift with a price stuck to it. I think that someone who stays in the same household deserve a gift from your shop without a price inside the box especially if it comes with extra packaging and birthday message. It could be easily done by putting the invoice inside the sealed envelope and sign envelope as a "buyer" so the price of a gift isn't first thing someone see after opening a box. Like I said I understand that this may be your procedure however I believe that we can learn from the mistakes and entire "Farrar & Tanner" experience could be more personlized.”
