Excellent! Made my chicken broth very gelatinous (high in collagen).

When we purchased the item, the picture shows different. Although when we went back to the website to have a look and although it clearly states it is unclean and undressed, as a buyer/ user, I was mislead initially as the picture showed dressed feet. Totally disappointed as we threw it all away hence a waste of money moreover it was not possible to clean them as they were frozen and even after thawed, using method of hot water then cold, the membrane have stuck to the feet . Sadly won’t be buying again.

I am sorry to hear of your disappointment with our chicken feet and for any confusion caused by the image on the product page; this image is of prepared (blanched and peeled) chicken feet, while what we are selling is raw chicken feet. We have tried to be clear in the product description that this is the case however, we will look at this again to see if we can make this more obvious. Our chicken feet do receive a primary wash, however, 'pasture-raised' chicken feet are prone to acquiring blemishes in the skin, this is a result of the birds living outside on the pasture, these markings are permanent and cannot be washed off. For tips on how to prepare raw chicken feet, I can recommend a great blog by the Elliott Homestead which gives a clear step by step guide, see link: http://theelliotthomestead.com/2015/01/chicken-feet/ I am sorry once again that our chicken feet product didn't meet your expectations, If you would like to discuss your experience further, please do not hesitate to phone me on 0146053988. Regards, Ollie
