“I bought this foundation as an alternative to Oxygenetix Acne Control foundation since I am undergoing a course of micro needling. What a find! I have oily skin with large pores and often find myself redoing my makeup during my lunch break since, invariably by then, it has gone all patchy. Not Lycogel. I changed nothing in my normal routine only my foundation; Skinceuticals Blemish and Age cleanser, Skinceuticals Silymarin C serum, Skinceuticals Blemish and Age serum and Skinceuticals Oil Shield SPF50. I wait a few minutes between each and then apply Lycogel with a Sigma HD foundation brush. One pump is all you need. Coverage is even, matte and incredibly long lasting. I powder once in the morning with Clarins Blotting Clay powder. During the day, I use blotting papers from the Clarins Blotting compact but only at lunchtime. Lycogel’s longevity is unsurpassed. I have tried many, many foundations and this is by far the best I have tried. It’s breathable formula is a bonus and does not cause me to breakout. Beige suits my light yellow toned skin reducing redness whilst avoiding a mask effect. I also bought shade Creme to mix during the winter. All in all a gem of a find, I will continue to purchase Lycogel when on offer since I accept that for 20ml it is pricey. Service from FtF is first class, I hope they continue to stock Lycogel.
