“This course is very well structured and very professionally put together in both content and presentation. It is wonderful to be sent your own ingredients and be taken through the basics and then his to create something for yourself. It is only just the start as you realise just how complex and creative the process of creating a perfume is and the depth of knowledge and experience required. You do start to smell and think about perfume in a whole new way. It gives you an insight into what to look for and I do feel now that even though I know so little in the grand scheme of things, I now know so much more. Thank you Em.”

“I imagine that students come to this course with a variety of personal goals ranging from the desire to create a signature scent to pursuing the dream of creating a business. My goal was simply to immerse myself in the mystery and aesthetics of the art of perfumery. I’ve frolicked in a perfume garden in Grasse and experienced a workshop in the Parisian apartment of a perfumer but I longed for more. After watching the introductory mini classes with Em’s “very approachable professionalism and enthusiasm“, I knew this was the course for me and it did not disappoint. In fact it was a dream come true. The lessons were clear, the videos were highly enjoyable, and the emphasis on practice was spot on. I found myself looking forward every day to smelling sessions (which worked) and took my time savoring it all before moving to the next lesson. The more I learned the more questions I had and wished for the opportunity for discussion which I understand is not so practical with online learning. I did send a few emails which were kindly answered but I did not want to impose on the busy team. I plan to review all of Part I, savoring it once again, before starting Part II. It was the perfect course at the perfect time...a truly wonderful experience and I thank you! Ps...love the journal articles ❤️”

“The course was well structured, with a box of materials that was well thought out and with which I could get to work. The course consisted of different modules, which you could study at your own pace. I found the selected smells and the working materials very nicely presented and the lessons were incredibly interesting. Bravo for teaching such complex material in such a pleasant way!”

“The course was exactly what I was looking for. It gave me a direction, the necessary steps and tools to start exploring the perfume creation world. Now I know where to start and what to do in order to create my own fragrances. The content is rich, not the typical blog that explains (only) olfactive pyramid. If you want to know how to create a fragrance guided by a professional perfumer, but don't want to go to the lengthy french perfume schools to get a full degree, this is a great way to start. I am really happy with what I have learnt. Plus, their Customer Care is really that, Care.”
