I've used gas saws forever. This works just as well, for a fraction the price. I've owned the older version for nearly 4 years and decided to upgrade as I wanted water dust control. This r300dct+ is amazing.

Saw is perfect for cutting indoors and the dust suppression is perfect. This is my second saw, first one purchased from Amazon was stolen from a job site. Still a great saw even paying for one twice.

Purchased this saw to facilitate a renovation project. I had the need to cut a basement floor for bathroom plumbing installation. Worked flawlessly and very clean with the wet cutting option. You will need a 20amp circuit and a heavy duty extension cord. Included blade cut easily with no visible wear after 75 linear feet of cut. Saw paid for itself in the very first job. I would recommend this saw for renovation contractors.

The Evolution R300DCT + 12 inch saw is exactly what I was looking for. The water hose attachment with turn off worked great to suppress dust. This saw cut through my retaining wall block like butter. The motor has a soft start and brake when turned off. I would have given this saw a 5 but only issue which may just need me to adjust the shield is the water spray need to make sure you stand away from the stream when cutting or your shoe and leg will get soaked. This saw is well balanced and a breeze to use.

The Multi blade cut through #5 rebar with ease. I'm very happy so far.

Cut a 4" thick concrete floor with it and it cut very well. I used the pressurized water tank with hand pump as a dust suppressor. It worked great. The only thing I didn't like was that the manual water valve on the saw. It worked fine but the orientation of the valve handle seemed to be opposite of all other water valves..........meaning when you turned the valve handle to what appears to be "in line" with the hose (and normally open), it's actually closed. And vice versa....when turning the handle to what appears to be closed (perpendicular to the hose), it's actually open.

Thanks Wes, I'll pass your comments onto the R&D team for the next time we do an update to the tool. Unfortunately the switch does use a 180 degree fitting to the actual valve so it's not possible to unscrew just the handle and re-fit it at 90 degrees to correct the issue you have raised, sorry.

2nd day using the saw and it shut down right in the middle of making a cut. Very frustrating! It eventually just started working again. Overheated? It does cut well when it is working. Would not buy again. Nothing worse than a tool not functioning properly. It causes lost time and money. Would not recommend.

Thank you so much, Bridgette, for your feedback on the Evolution R300DCT+ 12in. Electric Concrete Cut-Off Saw. I'm very sorry to hear of the issues on the second day of using it and that it shut down while you were making a cut. That must have been very frustrating. It's a shame you did not have a more positive experience with the saw. I understand your desire to not buy it again and not recommend it. How can we make things better for you? Is there any way we can alleviate the frustration and inconvenience caused by the saw not functioning properly?
