“I’m cutting mesquite planks. Lots of them! And will need to cut tile and stone. This miter saw can do it all. I’ve been using it for a few weeks. Works just as expected. The best for multi-materials.”

“We have had the original for 10+ years and just now replacing it with this new one. Great quality. Only change I recommend is the motor placement on the right does not allow the use of a hold down on the right side. But we just use the left side.”

“Overall very happy with the saw. Clamping device needs to be a bit more substantial, (pretty flimsy) and depth of table needs to be deeper for wider material. A great improvement would be a larger blade guard that opens when cutting, such as the Evolution hand held saw, or the Milwaukee metal saw. As is metal chips fly all over”

“I have not opened up the new saw as yet, the old saw which is the evolution 10 inch bevel sliding miter saw is still working, it has problems with intermittent operation. I purchased this new saw anticipating the failure of the old saw, I have owned this saw over seven years and have had good luck with it for the most part, I had one failure of a computer board that was under warranty back when it was still under warranty. My new purchased saw is testament to my satisfaction with this product, I would not of bought another one if I didn’t like it.”

“Studied on this one for a while, yes the hold down clamp needs some new design. The rest of the saw, will quite those concerns fairly quick. I have made about 30 cuts on 1 inch thick wall square tube, 11 gage or just say 1/8 inch. Cut’s fast and easy. Clean ready to weld. The chips will fly, so be sure and wear face and eye protection. The quick adjust for 45 degree cuts! Wow! Love this feature. It does take up a bit more space than a chop saw. However, don’t think I will be going back to the old high speed, loud, slow things anyway.”
