“The rage 3 was simple to assemble in accordance with the instructions and seems a well made and robust. So far I have used it to cut the plinths and cornices for my oak kitchen units, it performs really well, with a clean cut and the 45 degree angles on the cornices matched perfectly. I particularly like the slow start and the speed at which it brakes when the trigger is released.”

“I didn't finish unpacking the first one I purchased as I could see patches of corrosion on the alloy base plate. Took it back to Screwfix who changed it without a quibble. The second one had some damage on one of the castings which affected the sliding bars. I couldn't be bothered to travel back yet again. With a small bit of work I fixed the problem. For the price its a great machine. Not sure how long it will last as I have concerns over the quality control. I would defiantly recommend this saw for a DIY person as its fantastic value and do a good job at home, but doubt that it would suit a professional tradesman.”

“I received this from my wife as a birthday present. The first time I have had a chance to use it, with the stand (I got at Christmas,) was last week. I made a 16 ft. workbench mainly from 4x2 and a ply top. This to take a woodlathe, grindstone, drill press and bandsaw. This meant a sturdy bench was required. The Rage 3 went through like a hot knife through butter. The ability for repeat cut lengths and angles was great. I am very pleased with it and as a bonus to be able to cut different materials without changing blades is so good.”
