“Brilliant piece of kit, it took a bit of time to set up accurately from the box and if i was knit picking it could be set up at the factory but that said it works very well once set up. The laser is a bit dim for outside use but is still a handy feature. All in all a very good buy for the money.”

“This has to rate as one of the best products for the price on the market. I have wanted a reasonably priced sliding compound mitre saw for years, and it's purchase resulted in being able to make up a length of fencing and gates in record time, I have a had a non-sliding saw for a number of years and always struggled with this sort of work, having to hand cut the final few cms of each piece. If you are looking for a tool to do the job, this is it.”

“Worked straight out of the box with 45 degree mitre joints on the new kitchen fascias, what was historically a nightmare job with hand tools for a DIYer, proved to be a breeze, the wife was well im pressed with the finished work. Great price too from Screwfix, I hope it has a long and healthy life ahead of it.”

“I found the saw easy to set up accurate,portable,and well made.One reviewer said the saw would not cut square and he could not alter the blade to adjust! To adjust to cut square the fence is adjusted not the blade (it states in the instructions also that it is the fence).”

“A good budget power tool, the soft start safety feature is a must and works very well. The backstop screw is not robust enough and I had to re-tap and die the screw thread to get it to screw into the body. A shame there is only one clamp down device included.”
