Knock-out chop/bevel saw. Does the business. If it doesn't, change the cutting wheel.

good value for money and cuts as described: wood, wood with nails, steel. unfortunately there are also disadvantages: oil leak from the gearbox at the second day and poor blade efficiency. saw cut some (15-17, 3 to 6mm thick) steel profiles and blade needs replacement...

The saw is good as long as you take the time to set it up property. The cutting blade works well, I cut a lot of reclaimed timber and miss old nails that are well imbedded and it goes through no problem with no damage to the blade.

Only used it twice for cutting decking boards. It made light work of these. I have a few more jobs to do after Christmas, so will have more of an idea then. The laser is particularly useful. The quality seems very good so far. At £99.99 it is a good buy. The only criticism, is the lack of a dust bag on this model. I did try to buy one from the place I bought it, but they had been discontinued. Buying from other suppliers, they are quite pricey for what they are. I will get my wife to make one for me.

I bought this from Screwfix about 2 and a half weeks ago.. The laser light didn't work.. I cut lots of wood to make some small pots with ..On assembling the parts I noticed that each cutting was out by about 2 to 3 mil at the bottom..Not impressed and I was quite excited first of all..Not happy, sorry.

I was a bit apprehensive at first when I bought it because, I confess, I own a Festool Kapex compound mitre saw, which of course is the "bees knees". However having used the Rage3-S I am very pleased with the machine which was of course much cheaper than the Festool. I did not realise when I bought the Rage3-S that it has as many features as it has considering the price. The one thing that really pleases me is that it also cuts metal and plastic as well as wood. Having now used it a lot the accuracy is really good and the cutting quality is brilliant. So if anyone is apprehensive ..... don't be .... it is a cracker of a machine.
