“I have been very impressed with the R2555SMS mitre saw and the stand that I purchased separately. the quality and functionally of these two is exception. this saw does everything I need for making things in my workshop. It looks and feels solid. I looked at many similar saws but none of them matched the quality and price.”

“I bought this several weeks ago to help build an extension to my shed - so glad I did, it was invaluable. I would say the most important thing is to spend some time setting it up properly. For this, I went to Youtube and several videos which were very informative. Secondly, try to make sure it's as level as possible as this can affect the quality of the cut. Once these measures are taken, it'll give you great cuts, all day long. Love it!”

“Good points: solid build quality. Indents on angles are good. motor brake is helpful. Not so good: Would benefit from an included dust bag. Mine had sparks from the commutator. Spoke to tech services and they said it should improve with more use which sounds plausible (brushes need to bed in). We'll see.”

“Had not heard of Evolution Saws before I purchased, It received Good reviews and I purchased at a very good price. No regrets on this Bad Boy. We had our windows replaced in our house recently, 19 of them. Low and behold our blinds would not fit in the new windows. I called around for pricing to cut them down, $72.00 each! I decided I would attempt to cut them myself with my new Evolution Sliding Miter Saw. What a great decision! Faux wood slats and metal headrail was no match for the blade that came with the saw. Excellent product! The price I paid for the saw was more than covered on the savings of cutting the blinds myself.”

“While i haven't had the saw for too long i did get to use it on multiple materials and it cuts very well and has a great build quality. Cuts through metal with ease. Going great so far.”
