“Purchased this, having used Evolution Rage 254. (owned by a friend) More fiddly than a Metabo to assemble, some instructions not clear enough. Disconcerting shower of swarf appeared on initial start-up - assumed blade touched guard/casing. But a very versatile piece of kit - not as robust as its bigger brother and I will invest in a finer blade as I am only cutting timber. All in all, however, a satisfactory purchase.”

“Haven't used it yet as have aroject and need to get the timber. Went together well but like everyone has said use the you tube video as it is far better than the manual. Said you need a screwdriver bit I had no need for one. Perhaps they have changed the screw head to an Allen key. Looks sturdy and went together well. Looks the business. Also bought the mitre saw stand. Very sturdy and easy to put together ,- again I used you tube.”

“An excellent piece of kit for the price, easy to assemble and use, only fault I could state is that if purchased by a beginner DIY person it would be easy to put the blade on the wrong way round as nowhere in the documentation does it tell you either, which way round the blade goes nor that the securing screw is left hand thread”

“Very good saw the only thing I didn't like was the fact that nothing was set square I had to literally square up every part which wasn't difficulty at all just a bit annoying. I would recommend trying evolution tools”

“Seems to work fine and does a nice clean cut on the mitres too. Also cuts through metal and plastics without changing the blade from wood cutting. Good value for money overall..”
