This is a very good machine. It is like having a petrol cutter; but without the hassle of fuel and servicing. It is also lighter to use.

Having a petrol sthil cutter and having to use the pull cord everytime we need to do a cut, we wanted a cutter that was easy to use and hassle free. So we decided to give the evolution electric cutter a try. I have to say this cutter is fantastic, so easy to use and with the slow start gives perfect cutting. It cuts through bricks, blocks and pavers so easy. I have recommended this product to other builders who have asked me my view. If your in two minds if to buy this cutter just buy it with 3yrs warranty you won't regret it.

The power of this cutter is amazing. It is well built and fitted with an excellent blade that is more than fit for purpose. I have no hesitation in giving this a full 5 star recommendation. Bob

It is a regrettable that a continuous 305mm (12") blade and an appropriate arbor, are not in the Evolution range of blades, as this would enhance the use of the cutter, in that it would be easier to use on thin large kitchen floor tiles, in addition to the job of cutting pavement slabs which is it's primary use for which I purchased it. Such a cutter-wheel would be less likely to crack such tiles. A safety point: When attaching the dust extraction pipe to, say a "Henry" type vacuum (which does fit), or any alternative dust extractor, --it is important to secure the connecting extraction pipes to the handle of the cutter with duct tape, so that they do not accidentally separate and give one a fateful of dust! (I must report that I have not used the machine yet)

Sick to death of my 3 year old petrol disc saw being with s,so had a look on the market and found the Evolution cutter. Although it doesn't run as fast as the orange one, just plug in and away you go. Great machine.

I've used one of these for the past few years. It has been a great tool to use, no more pulling on cords or filling up petrol containers.
