Only started to use it to cut steel bars 12mm^ and 8mm flat but great effortless cutting, no dust just metal small chips. M Canavan

I have used this saw to cut 1/4 inch x 2 Inch steel plate, 2 inch steel pipe with 1/4 inch wall, and 1 inch steel rod. Works perfectly!

It cuts as advertised but the vise clamp on a 45* shifts your work piece as you tighten. I had to clamp down the material with an extra clamp just to get an accurate cut.

Overall impression is of a fairly solid, sturdy piece of kit which seems to do what it says on the box... albeit that is based on very little use and cutting only wood, so far. I bought the diamond-blade for stone-cutting but have not used it yet. Nice to get a decent-quality Allen-key for the clamp adjustment The clamp seems quite robust; not a problem but I had to adjust the clamp to get a square cut (horizontally). There seems to be no adjustment for the squareness of the cut vertically but my machine seems to cut pretty close to 'square', as it came out of the box. One would need to cut bigger section material to be sure.

Not had the chance to give it a full workout yet, but a trial run on aluminium rod and steel box shows great promise, fast clean cuts, no showers of sparks, but goggles are a must! Only ever used 14" carborundum disc cut-off saws before, so I'm interested to see how long the blade lasts for.
