“saw cut through one 2 inch section of timber , gave off a strong electrical burning smell and stopped working... Having said that i returned product to screwfix and without any problem the saw was exchanged like for like I have since used the saw to trim numerous fence panels and posts and it has performed very well although a cutting depth of 3 inch would have been usefull. For the price paid it is a very good piece of kit ... As an added bonus it cuts through wood , nails ect without any problems ,,.... Excellent buy”

“Bought this for a specifc job, not expecting too much for the price, but have found it to perform way above expectations. Gave it a good test today - cutting oak using the Multippurpose blade at full depth - excelent quality of cut. Machine is quiet and comfortable to use. Only minor niggle is the finish of the cast base plate, the groved bottom is machined but the edges of the plate are not. But having said that in comparison with other machines costing much more this is truly excelent value for money. I would have no hesitation in recomending it.”

“Great saw, wish I'd got it years ago. Very easy to use. Only complaint is the guide, it doesn't work for material less than 10mm thick, it just drops under. That said it wasn't advertised as having a guide so that was a bonus.”

“Bought this for cutting Plastic coated steel sheeting for shed roofing. Cut effortlessly through 4 x 0.5mm sheets with clean edges. also cuts other steel profiles easily. A very good buy & good price. G Pearson Waterlooville Hants”

“This was a replacement for my old power saw that had seen it better days, as a builder I need a saw that is very good at what it should do, this saw is better than all my expectations very very pleased with it and would recommend to any one especially at the price.”
