“Cuts like butter. Only gripe is feet are not level and speed clamp threads not very smooth. Mine also has some aluminum waves in base but, doesn't interfere with straight clean cuts. With some fiddling it cuts great and do recommend.”

“Cuts fast and easy but the blade vibration is worse than that of the abrasive saw it is replacing. I expected “tighter” and a bit more quality for the premium price.”

“So far so good! I made about 50 cuts through 1.5 in angle iron (1/8th in thick) the first day i had it and was very happy with how smoothly it cut and how clean the cuts are.”

“This is my second Evolution Metal Chop saw, i replaced my older saw with this version. I would recommend it over the abrasive saw for quality of cut as well as speed of cut. I like how they have improved the clamping and the angle cutting, as well as the handle and power paddle. The base is more rigid so the saw feels more solid. I also like how they built a better blade guard.”
