I have had another Fury3, but this is excellent, the best you can get. I also have the stand, which is a perfect combination, I cut a lot of wood, and this has halved the time I take.

I have rated this purchase at 4/5 as it was not supplied with a dust bag, and I had to purchase this as an accessory from the evolution web site separately. If it had been supplied as part of the initial purchase my review would have been 5/5.

Very good value compares well with more expensive saws. I needed a saw with power to spare and this has it. Very pleased with it.

So far very impressive with one small snag: I was disappointed to find that the dust bag was an optional extra. I tried to order one via the supplier then, after four days with no news, got impatient and ordered one direct from Evolution. It arrived on the day the supplier informed that Evolution had offered to supply one FOC - bother! The dust bag doesn't actually collect dust......... However, the saw seems to do a great job. I've wanted one for years and finally had the perfect DIY excuse.

Well made, does its job. Evolution blade is awesome for metal. (And makes clean wood cuts, too). Setting the mitre and bevel to the correct angle is tricky if you care about one or two degrees. Lots of measuring and tweaking with your engineers' square or angle finder. The built in gauges will get you within 3 degrees at best. Laser position needed to be set to match the kerf also, but once done, it is very useful. Tightening the set screw on cut-length-setting-rail broke the cast iron ring that holds the rail on the first day; so don't torque this hex bolt much. The one hold-down clamp supplied for your stock is kinda flimsy, so you will need some clamps, and clamping options to the Fury3's surfaces are pretty limited. The level of the centre of the semi-circular cutting table is above the height of the two fence floors on either side (off by 1mm or so), and thick promotional decals applied only make this problem worse. Decals are not easy to remove. So if you clamp it to the left fence floor, stock will pop up at an angle, resting only on the edge of the semi-circular region. Add a shim to the fence floor. As with any careful cutting, measure, measure, measure, then cut. Don't trust the gauges.
