“I purchased the double bevel mitre saw to make things easier whilst boarding a roof out. The unit seems okay but accuracy could be better. When set to 90 degrees cross cut, there's significant play due to the size of the location slot, so if you're not careful you may cut slightly out of square. The stand was good, and if you're going to use it a lot, I recommend the extra expense, but both the stand and the saw instructions leave a bit to be desired. They could be better, especially when extra nuts, bolts and washers are supplied. It's not apparent from the instruction which ones should be used and you have to make your own mind up. Overall, I'd say for the money they're good value (only used it for a few cuts so far so time will tell), but if you want better accuracy, look elsewhere. And don't get sucked in by Evolutions discount codes. They don't state at the time of offering a discount code for your personal details that there are any exemptions, but the codes won't work if you're buying a bundle despite the fact they say it's a discount code useable on your first purchase - it's a con. The Advertising Standards Agency know all about it, but seem reluctant to flex their muscles. Be warned.”
