Brian, Yes the saw is designed to trim off a slither of of the edging strip on its first use. Doing it this way ensures that you get a perfect cut edge that is set-up exactly for the combination of your saw and track. “Received over a week ago. When putting the track together one of the locking bars was jammed in the track. Contacted customer support straight away and have heard nothing back. Seems they are happy to sell you the tool but not remedy any problems.”

“The track saw is amazing. I custom build campervans and it came in really handy for cutting large boards. Wish I'd bought one sooner. My only issue with it is the back for the track could do with being a little longer as it is a very snug fit which makes it awkward to pack away. Overall tho it's pretty spot on.”

“Super accurate cutting. Makes so many jobs so much easier. I love it. Good solid build on the saw too. Be careful not to over tighten the screws that join the rails because it will dent the rails.”
