The first cut of 1/4” steel which was about 7” long was great. By the forth cut, the blade was struggling. I was punching it’s capacity, but was disappointed in its longevity. I have a 14” chop saw with 14” blade and that blade lasts significantly longer.

The Evolution 10 in. Mild Steel TCT Blade is well thought out, a perfect pairing for the Evolution 10" sliding compound miter saw. Angle and tubing are no chore for this blade. Metal chips are small, cuts are cold, with little to no burrs on the edge.

Good blade, but be careful with how you start the cut. Once it gets a good bite, then you can get good rate of speed. Make sure the steel is clamped secured well.
