“Superb piece of kt, solidly built, well balanced and powerful enough for the thickest kitchen tops - a replacement for my AEG 1200BX and glad the old one blew up now as the Evolution is a better product.. Only one small criticism, with my stubby fingers found the blade change slightly awkward to use. A case would be a useful accessory for those of us that actually use them. Pricewise cannot be bettered.”

“I brought one of your jig saws last year after reading the write up in a magazine. My first job with it was to just cut a length of 5/8 ply. The saw could not cut a straight line without cutting at an angle. I tried numourous times without success. I sent a e-mail to the company and was informed that I may be using the wrong blades and cutting at the wrong speed. I have now put it away thinking it can only be used as a rough cut saw. but more than likely will never use it again. It looks a good tool if only it would do what it was designed for.”

“Very good quality build literally able to cut through a 4inch (100mm) nail that was buried in a piece of wood, it sliced it in two. I qualified as a furniture maker/ designer and then my back went so l am a hobby furniture maker, one of the big arguments is can modern jigsaws do accurate tenons, well I tried it on piece of 3 ❌3 wood and yes they can. The only thing that I have a problem with is the dust attachment for a hoover seems to be too small.”

“To be fair it hasn't had much use yet. Having owned flimsy budget ones in the past I am pleasantly surprised at the quality feel of this one. It has a very sturdy base plate, good range of speeds and, something I particularly like, is the slow start capability. It is easy to gently feather in the start rather than the usual sudden uncontrollable burst into full speed experience with budget models. Very god value.”
