“It's a great upgrade from the standard plastic throat plate. Significantly more sturdy, and the adjustment screws are a good addition. My only gripe is it bows slightly in the middle (specifically on the right). 2 more adjustment screws, one each side in the middle, would help ensure it is completely level for the entire length.”

“The plate supplied on the saw was too flexible. I glued an aluminium strut to mine which made it much better. This plate is rigid and a significant improvement making fine accurate cuts easier. An essential upgrade.”

“The die-cast aluminium body is not truly flat. I have had to pack the centre to raise it up in the table top recess. The end with the clamp screw was OK, but the end with 2 clips was too low and I had to file some material off the clips to raise it level with the table top. I recommend.mend this plate, but the quality could be better. It needs fettling to be be any use.”
