“Its a shame the tool is not supported by your customer service and more important delivery. There is little point highlighting speed of delivery as a selling point when it does not perform. Even worse when staff are short with you when you ring in. I made two mistakes- ordering late in the day and near to a weekend. But at that time my money was in their account so the impression I got was that they did not care. Hardly condusive with fostering a long-term relationship.”

“Great machine & IT'S BRITISH !!!! I have owned this for 10 days now. All came in a big box. Everything to assemble it was there, nothing missing. Easy to put together. I am an engineer, so all seemed straight forward. There are a number of You Tube videos of men assembling the saw, and it is all logical. Don't rush it, double check everything, and DON'T overtighten anything, you don't need to !!!! Whole assembly seems, and feels robust, so far. Nice solid main cutting table. Great features (not included with other machines)........ extending table to both left & right, an included sliding carriage and, it folds up to be stored away, keeping the workshop clear. The only thing so far, is that the mitre gauge is VERY loose in the running track, which could make for an inaccurate cut. I have solved the problem for now, with a strip of "Gaffer" tape along the bottom of the mitre gauge and up into the "T" section. Seems a lot snugger, but time will tell. It even came with a free zero tolerance metal insert kit, normally retailing at £30.00. If you sign up to receive their newsletter, you get another 5% off, which brings a £400ish machine down to £315 approx....... All in all, at the price, it seems like a good machine for a general purpose hobby set up like mine.”

“I just got this table saw a few days ago but I started a new project with it. I am very happy with the results I am getting with this one. For the price you just can't beat it. The assembly was a bit of a pain but I finally got it together and did a setup on it. The blade is ok but not the greatest I replaced the blade about halfway through the project. I am saving it for metal or plastic to use it again. The fence I was worried about but I checked it out very close and found it to be very accurate. It lines up square to the blade, the blade squared up to the tabletop with no problems. Oh man was I very happy to find the right side of the top moves and it glides so good it is like having a build in sled. (Have not had time to build one yet.) This saw just keeps making me more excited to use it. I think I could not have found one that I like any more than this one. I will be telling all that I know how great this saw is. The Evolution Rage5-s is the one to beat it set a very high standard for this price range. I am going buy more of the Evolution products as I need to replace any that I have now.”

Hi Tony, thank you for your 5 star rating of the Evolution RAGE5-S 255mm Table Saw With TCT Multi-Material Cutting Blade 230V. I just got this table saw a few days ago and I have already successfully started a new project with it. I'm really satisfied with the results I'm getting and I especially appreciate the price point compared to other saws. The assembly was a bit of a pain but I managed it and the setup was surprisingly easy. I was a bit wary of the blade and fence, but after inspecting them more closely, they proved to be accurate and effective. I'm really impressed with the smoothness of the right side of the saw top and the overall quality of the saw. I'm sure I couldn't have asked for a better-suited saw than this one and I'll be recommending the Evolution RAGE5-S to anyone I know in need of a new table saw! This saw has definitely set a lofty standard in its price range.

“Saw is now working perfectly after tightening nearly every nut,bolt and screw left loose. Flap inside body of saw which I think catches dust at 45 degrees was not connected at all. Sliding table is great but mitre attachment leaves a lot to be desired not a great design changing the angle loosens the pozi screw attaching it to the body and requires tightening at every use. Such a shame as the saw is great when working.”
