“Works straight out of the box.All square and parallel,I've done some trial cuts and they are clean and true. I test cut a hexagonal in 20 mm plywood,after setting the angles with a 30 degree set square I found the finished part to be well within 1 degree. I think the error is down to a small amount of play in the sliding table but good enough for most jobs. To sum up I think it's a good saw for the price but may not stand up to serious professional use.”

“Assembly and setup is not exactly easy, ok if you're good at DIY. Crosscut is not what you could call accurate, rip fence seems ok. Make sure you have a GOOD extention lead, the power lead is far too short.”

“The instructions aren't the best, but manageable. The blade guard is awful and cuts are more dangerous on than off. The fence is solid and can get square to the blade. The mitre sled has way too much play so will replace with a diy version. A zero clearance insert will be fabricated to replace the current insert which has too large an opening. The blade itself I struggle to get 90deg to the table... The best I can get is 89.6deg. I think there are many good features with this saw, however my concern is should something go wrong I'm not confident in a reply from their customer services dept as I had an issue with my Evolution mitre saw, emailed them and never got even hint of a response.”
