I bought a £100.00 bench saw about 2year ago never owned one before and thought it was doing a good job but it was very fierce and fence was not good, tried to improve the usability but with little success, So I decided to look for something that was going to make my wood working hobby a more enjoyable experience, lots of internet searches and decided on this saw, from the start it was a huge upgrade for me I had no adjustments to make it cut square etc. I love the fact that I can easily move it outside to cut larger wood, for me the Saw has made the jobs I do a much better experience I cannot find one thing about this Saw that disappoints me although I said I had only had one saw before, but I spent 50years in construction and 25 of those years was as a self employed builder so I have used a number of different saws but they were hired but I still think this Saw stands out on usability and price, are there better saws out there, I suspect that there is but it will be costing you a lot more money and in my view you would have gained little to nothing if cost is part of the decision making

Great machine . Glad I waited for it to become in stock. Worth every penny and very accurate. Once set up right it's a great saw. Nice size table for cutting bigger pieces without having supports at each side. It's a saw you can trust to keep everything square as you need it. Would reccomend to buy

As a keen DIYer, this table saw does everything I need and is reasonably priced against the big names. The supplied blade cuts plywood and lengths of timber with no problems at all, accurately ( once set up properly) and with a good cut edge. My only disappointment (and why I've dropped it a star) is the dust collection. Having the collection hose set up as per the instructions, and connected to my shop vac, there is still a pile of sawdust on the floor after ripping a few lengths of timber. Apart from that, a very good machine.

Excellent I am a home diyer, and it absolutely perfect for my workshop set up, it’s quiet and very accurate, the only reason it’s got 4 stars is that I have to lift it in and out of my shop to have the room to use it, this is in no way the saws fault... just annoys me that my shop isn’t big enough for such a fantastic machine. Thanks

Good price from Toolden, 8 week delivery due to Covid. Table not flat, blade out of line with table. Clearance plate higher than table. Side to Side blade movement when not rotating. Sent back to Evolution for 'repair' and ended up with a new Saw that was checked before dispatch. Table still not perfectly flat and Clearance plate still higher than table in one corner but apparently, according to Evolution "is within the EC standard tolerance" Also had to re-align blade (instructions are not in the manual - contact Evolution for separate document). Riving Knife is same thickness as blade so has to be perfectly aligned to blade otherwise material is forced into the fence by the knife which creates an 'unclean' cut. Despite all this it does seem to cut well and has great potential but I doubt it will last as long as the Clarke 10in I've had for the last 20 years. Time will tell as it gets used. The ability to be able to 'fold' it up and move it about very easily is great. Sliding carriage is also a boon. But I do think that the designers have pared down the 'design and build' to the minimum to save money to the detriment of quality. There are many YouTube reviews (especially 'Casual DIY') that praise this saw hence the reason I bought it so perhaps I've been unlucky. NB: The videos are from the first Saw, the replacement is much better but not perfect.

This has taken me a while to do this review as I was speaking to a friend about his saw which is the same one as I have And I told him the problem as when it was delivered I was unable to use it straight away because the motor was hanging off and the black cover to the left hand side Of the blade was not connected so I done a full inspection for safety sake I understand that you ship them out and they get bumped about in the van but I was not expecting that kind of work to be done after ordering it all is well now and working fine and I’m happy with it but it was lucky that it didn’t get switched on or there would have been a Disaster on my hands
