“I’m not a pro, but I do appreciate quality tools. This saw has raised my game. The included blade is as tough as they say! Straight through nails, no drama. Best part of it, is the blade is still perfect! Anything will have a go at cutting a nail. Not every thing will come out of it fine though. Well built tool. Solid and accurate. The adjustments to make the table wider are an incredible asset. I managed to cut a sheet of mdf and make a full door frame and architrave out of it. Rip fence is solid and gives confidence in your cut. The mitre gauge is spot on too. I did find myself stubbornly cutting angles on a table saw that I should’ve used the mitre saw for! But I did it all the same. I changed to the 60 tooth for the mdf, just for a neater finish. I’ll be honest though, the beast disk doesn’t produce a shabby finish at all! All in all, I’d recommend it. I was torn between spending this amount on a saw or just getting a cheaper one (again). No regrets at all. Press the buy it now button! Ordered direct from Evolution. Outstanding customer service! Even managed to sort my screw up with the order.”

“I bought this as an upgrade from my very small table saw, and this really is leagues ahead. It seems to be the most highly praised of this size of table saw, and I can see why. Assembling the stand did take a while and I made a few false starts before getting it right. The video on the Evolution website was a great help especially with the more ambiguous parts of the instruction manual. Expanded polystyrene packing is a bit disappointing but I hope the company will move away from this in time. The whole thing feels very solid and stable, and the first few cuts using the multi-material blade were very satisfying and like a hot knife through butter. I haven't used the fine wood blade yet so I can't comment on that. A 3 year warranty is good, and I look forward to many years of using this table saw”

“After having a play with the Rage5 - I am very impressed. Made a sled to make bird boxes and cut the wood with no problems. A bit fiddly to assemble the base, but otherwise, very impressed”

“I had high expectations for my new Evolution RAGE5-S Table Saw, however can only leave a pretty negative review of my experience after receiving a damaged item that appears to have previously been opened. I have now contacted Evolution twice regards the issue and have received no assistance or response following their initial contact. It has now been a week since contacting them regards this issue and getting nowhere. Let down and frustrated.”

“Great value product. Recessed plastic around blade (drops down) makes it harder to be accurate on small pieces. Large pieces require care not to move the unclamped end of the fence - recommend a second clamp. These are the exceptions though. This is a capable and portable machine. The handy looking holders for the various accessories don’t seem to fit much, but it’s a minor point.”

“Reasonable quality but very time-consuming to assemble due to poor instructions and diagrams. The dust extraction system is not great as still generates lots of sawdust on the floor despite being connected to a powerful vacuum. The design makes it incredibly difficult to retrieve small offcuts that drop down into the blade holder”
