“I've tried out the Evolution R255SMS+ 255mm Sliding Compound Mitre Saw and it works really for an amateur DIYer. A few things that would have given this 5 stars. Firstly, the Saw arrived in a box which looked like it had been previously used. A lot of the inner packaging was ripped and broken. Some of the parts were loose in transportation. However, all parts were present and correct. Secondly, the instructions were poor. For someone who has never set up a Mitre Saw the instructions were very hard to follow. I tried following the instruction video but it's also very hard to keep up and follow. What should have taken somebody with knowledge probably 20mins, took me over an hour. However, once you get over the setup the saw works great. No adjustments were needed in setting up so thumbs up there.”

“I’ve only used it with a Simons blade on for tiles but works brilliantly , I’m sure it will be just as good if not better with the multi blade on for wood / metal.”
