“Whilst engaged upon a DIY project and needing to make some mitre cuts in timber I asked a carpenter friend for some advice as to a decent but ‘cheap’ purchase. He recommended Evolution, but expressed some concern about the small number of teeth in the cutting blade. He advised that ideally, for a neat cut, I should look for a wheel with 48 teeth. I looked around at alternatives but eventually decided upon this model with the versatile blade. I have not been disappointed with either precision or neatness of cut. My only error was, whilst on the mitre setting, I cut through the adjustable fence and it will cost me more than £10.00 to replace it - even though it is such a small part.
