The saw was a lot quieter than I thought. The blade cuts through the wood like butter and with the dust extraction port helps keep the dust to a minimum.

Only used to cut an internal door to size and also on the old door for a DIY job. First time I have used a circular saw, so not able to compare with others, but found the saw straight forward to use. Pleased my purchase.

It's the best circular saw I've used, and being in the building trade, good tools are essential, so I'm really pleased with this item

I purchased this for home DIY use to replace an ancient and rusty Black and Decker. The improvement is very noticeable, in terms of cutting ability, convenience and safety features. I chose this one because it was the cheapest that I could find that had a vacuum connector for dust extraction, as I intended to use it indoors to repair some floorboards. While it doesn't catch all of the sawdust, it does catch most of it, and this feature is well worth having. I would recommend this for DIY use.
