“Purchased the electric plate compactor to whack down type 1 sub base for a grid foundation for our new garden shed. It is a compact but powerful unit that worked very well and will be used for our planned new garden paths and a log cabin base, next Spring, with no more hassle trying to hire the kit any more.”

“I was a bit sceptical about this product, however it arrived at light speed and is well packaged, it will do everything you need it to, from levelling out path's and compacting stone, to levelling out sand and bases for laying blocks or slabs, it's very quiet and easy to use, go steady and after a few passes it's as good as petrol in the same class, it's great for concreting too using it for vibrating the shuttering, all in all decent bit of kit.”

“Much easier to handle than the petrol versions that I have hired before. It stops instantly when the throttle is released, unlike the overrun that you get with petrol versions. Although it is lighter, that makes it more manoeuverable. Whilst the tailing cable is a small drawback, overall, the plusses outway the minuses. Great value for money. It will pay for itself when compared to several hires.”
