“I am a bricklayer and needed an alternative to our stihl saw as we do domestic works and sometimes the stihl can be loud we needed the water suppression as well so gave one of these a go It cuts lovely and straight much better than anticipated but if you get the 110v version you need to buy a 32 amp transformer as this is what it works off of but they don’t tell you that got one from screw fix for £118.00 so not too bad”

“What genius made this with larger transformer needed? Doesn't mention that you need to buy transformer for £200. Site work this is useless as can only work off one extension lead so you may need to find a 100m lead. On top of this you have to pay to return and waste your time. Note to Evolution, you are selling this product to mostly contractors who work in the structural side of construction not the technical stuff so making it clear that larger transformer is required would be advised so you don't waste people's time. You are not welcome to my time and hard earned money you have wasted!”

Hi Colin, We are sorry to hear that the R300DCT+ didn't fulfil your needs. I shall add a line to the product specification making it more clear that the 110v unit requires a 2,000w (3.3kva) 32amp plug transformer. There's quite a few brands sell one for £100

“Cutter is a good tool but incredibly heavy compared to petrol alternatives. One question I have is that you make this saw in A 110v model for site work but the wet dry vac designed to be used with it only comes in 240v? Pointless and can't be used on site with the saw. Are you launching a 110v model of the vacuum please?”
