“OK, so lots of paving to do at home and needed a saw for the cuts. Did the usual thing scouting Ebay for a decent second hand Stihl saw, which would cost around £350-400 for something decent. Saw this electric saw from Evolution and for the price it was a no-brainer. If all your doing is paving then you don't need a large Stihl saw type machine, this unit will managed it perfectly. It's far lighter and easier to handle too. The paving slabs are only 22mm thick so why would you need anything larger? I've only used the 'standard' blade it comes with so far and it really does cut the slabs with ease. Plus you don't get the noise or have to fill with petrol and oil like you would with a petrol powered machine. I'm highly impressed with this machine and it's absolutely perfect for cutting paving slabs and blocks., I highly recommend it, and I also recommend having a watering can handy to wet your cuts to keep the dust down.”
