“I am very happy with the feel of the sheets; they just continue to get softer and are quite buttery.
However. After washing once, I noticed a large tear, between the wide selvage at the top and the sheet itself. The bottom sheet was already wearing through.
Since I paid quite a bit for these, I contacted Eucalypso with photos and they responded quickly, saying they would replace the sheets. That was the last I heard from them. It has been over 2 months. I understand if replacement sheets are not top priority, but ALL repeated emails to try to find out what is happening go unanswered. It is like they are ghosting me. Sadly, I see that there are other reviews with similar problems, so maybe this is part of their company culture.
I almost never leave bad reviews, because I know how difficult it is to run a company (I have run two businesses for more than 40 years). However, I think new customers should be alerted to this type of poor service. I know it would effect me if I were considering an expensive purchase with a company.
After several emails, and a message on facebook, I finally found their phone number (it is not on their site) and left a voicemail (of course, no one answered).
I have contacted my payment provider, and advised them that this company is scamming its customers (check the reviews on Trustpilot). They are looking into pulling their access from the site. I also contacted Better Business Bureau, and will continue to contact agencies, so that others might benefit from my (and others') experience. It is a shame, because the sheets are lovely (with the exception of the tears, but I assume that is a one-off).
By the way, while you can read this review on the judge.me site, you will not find it on Eucalypso. Apparently, they filter out bad reviews. I hope I am wrong about this, but I've already experienced it.”
