I passed both parts of the SQE relatively comfortably. I think this speaks volumes for the quality of the teaching on the SQE course and the depth of the practice material available to us.

Having experienced the Ulaw SQE1 course in its entirety, I would recommend the course to others as I believe that it has been instrumental in my ability to prepare for what was a very daunting and difficult exam. Perhaps the most notable positive to draw from Ulaw’s SQE1 course is the quality of teaching. With some minor exceptions, all tutors were beyond sufficiently knowledgeable as to their respective topics and helped students like myself engage with course materials efficiently and enjoyably. All tutors, with minor exceptions, assisted students like myself to garner a realistic and practice-based understanding of law content. The ULaw course content, in my opinion, covered approximately 85% of the SQE1 syllabus. Small group sizes within Engage workshops allowed myself and other students to better focus on course materials and speak with tutors on a 1-1 basis more frequently. As expected, smaller groups sizes therefore made the Engage sessions more beneficial. The SQE Revision App and online webpage is an extremely valuable resource. Personally, I was able to complete approximately 3700 practice questions prior to the real SQE1 exam. The app enabled me to feel more prepared for the real exam and also familiarised me with the format of SBAQs.

The Staff and the app are great and very supportive but the course needs to be longer. We are learning legal concepts that are at times difficult to get your head around and this course just felt like it hurtled through these at breakneck speed.

My time with ULaw has been challenging, but rewarding. As others have mentioned here you have to put the work in, but the tutors have been supportive and enabled me to pass my SQE1 first time. Highly recommended!

ULaw over prepared us for the SQE 1 exam. Most of the questions in the ULaw SQE app were similar to the questions on the day of examination. Our tutors were also excellent in the run up to the exam and were available almost everyday to assist with areas of difficulty. The ULaw SQE course is money we’ll spent.
