“Ergonomic Designs sell showers that claim to be Hudson Green brand but when they fail, Hudson Green say they are not anything to do with their product. The 10 year guarantee offered is pointless as it only covers the moulding of the brass shower body and nothing else and who would break that out of a wall to know if it were cracked. The ceramic valves have lasted less than 18 months on a shower with intermittent use and now require replacement as they leak. Their CS advised to remove and soak in white vinegar to cure the leak. Once removed there was minuscule scale to remove but this did not sure the leaks. The replacement valves cost £27+ each but because I live in Spain they wanted £45 to post 2 of them to me. When challenged they claimed it was DPD that was charging this high cost not them. It is nonsense. These 'Hudson Green' valves weigh far less than a 0.5 Kg and should have cost around £12-15 to send at the very most! Hudson Green have a depot in Spain but would not supply the valves so we could use national post as they said they it was not their shower. I have no option but to buy the replacement valves from them or continue to have my shower tray wrecked by a dripping shower. Either that, or I have to take off wall tiles, glass shower screen, and much more to replace the whole shower. I would not buy from them again. Their guarantee is worthless.”
